• Climate Change Analysis in selected Indian Geosystems i.e., Mountain, Arid Region and megacities.

• Hazard, Risk and Vulnerability mapping and modeling

• Resource management in Critical Regions

2. Urban and Regional Planning

• Urban Health and Well-being Analysis Using UHIs

• Gender, Space and Regional Development

• Assessment of Development Program

National Seminars:

The Department had conducted two National Seminars under UGC - SAP - DRS III Program

on Thrust Areas 'Environment and Resources' & 'Urban and Regional Planning.'
